Managing Your Connections

Updated March 11, 2026

View and manage your connected integrations in Settings.

Accessing Connections

Go to Settings to see:

  • Google Search Console — Connected properties
  • WordPress — Connected sites

Google Search Console

What You See

  • Property URL
  • Last import date (when data was last synced from GSC)
  • Connection status

Managing GSC

  • Data Updates — Refreshes automatically in the background once per day. If your last import date is more than 2 days old, check the connection status for errors. If you need fresh data immediately, disconnect and reconnect the property to trigger a new import.
  • Disconnect — Click the Trash Icon to remove the property.

WordPress

What You See

  • Site URL
  • Connection status
  • Last used

Managing WordPress Sites

  • Test Connection — Verify the connection still works.
  • Disconnect — Click the Trash Icon to remove the site.

Security Best Practices

  • Use Application Passwords — Not your login password
  • Revoke unused connections — Remove sites you no longer use
  • Update passwords regularly — Rotate credentials when you change your WordPress password

Common Questions

How many connections can I have?

Unlimited. Connect as many GSC properties and WordPress sites as you need.

What if a connection stops working?

  1. Check the connection status in Settings — look for error indicators next to the property or site.
  2. Verify credentials — For WordPress, confirm the Application Password hasn't been revoked or changed. For GSC, ensure Google hasn't revoked the OAuth grant (this can happen if you changed your Google password or removed app permissions).
  3. Disconnect and reconnect — Remove the connection and go through the setup process again (see Connecting GSC or WordPress Integration). This creates fresh credentials. Your existing data (opportunities, optimizations) is not affected by disconnecting.
  4. Still not working? — Contact support at support@contentraptor.com with the error details shown in Settings.

Can I reconnect after disconnecting?

Yes. You can reconnect anytime by going through the setup process again.
