Exporting to WordPress
Note: WordPress export is currently temporarily disabled for maintenance. Please use the "Copy HTML" button to manually paste content into WordPress for now.
Once your content is ready, you can push it directly to your WordPress site without messing with formatting or copy-pasting.
Prerequisites
You must connect your WordPress site in Settings before you can export.
How to Export
- Open the Editor: Go to the document you want to publish.
- Click Export: In the top header, click the "Export" button.
- Select Site: Choose which connected WordPress site to send this to.
- Choose Status:
- Draft: Uploads as a draft. Best for final review in WordPress.
- Publish: Goes live immediately.
- Confirm: Click "Export".
What Happens Next
- Content Raptor converts your content (Headings, Images, Lists) into WordPress blocks.
- A new Post or Page is created on your site.
- You will see a "View on WordPress" link in the editor once complete.
Common Questions
Does it overwrite existing pages?
No. The export tool currently creates a new post or page. If you are updating existing content, we recommend exporting as a Draft, then copying the blocks into your existing page in WordPress.
Will images transfer?
Yes, images uploaded to the Content Raptor editor are sent to your WordPress Media Library.
Formatting looks different. Why?
Content Raptor sends semantic HTML (H1, p, ul, etc.). Your WordPress theme controls exactly how those elements look (fonts, colors, spacing).
Troubleshooting
- "Export Failed": Check that your Application Password hasn't expired in WordPress.
- "Connection Error": Ensure your security plugins (like Wordfence) aren't blocking our API connection.
