Understanding Your Dashboard
Updated November 25, 2025By Zak Kann
The dashboard is your home base for finding and starting optimizations. It shows your top opportunities and guides you to the most impactful next action.
The Priority Card
The large card at the top changes based on your current status:
- "Connect GSC" — You need to connect Google Search Console before Content Raptor can find opportunities.
- "Continue Optimizing" — You have an optimization in progress. Finish it before starting a new one.
- "Start Optimizing" — You're ready to optimize. The card shows your highest-potential opportunity.
Opportunities Table
Below the priority card, you'll see a list of pages you can optimize. The table is sorted by potential traffic gain, with the best opportunities at the top.
Each row shows:
- Page URL — The page on your site
- Keywords — How many keywords this page could rank better for
- Action — Click "Optimize" to start improving that page
Navigation
- Dashboard — Your home screen with top opportunities (start here)
- Keyword Opportunities — Full list of keywords for advanced filtering
- Page Opportunities — Opportunities grouped by page URL
- Optimizer Tasks — Track your in-progress and completed optimizations
- Rank Tracker — Monitor keyword rankings over time
Common Questions
Why don't I see any opportunities?
Two common reasons:
- GSC not connected — You need to connect Google Search Console first.
- No ranking data yet — Content Raptor needs existing search performance data to find opportunities. If your site is new or doesn't have rankings yet, there won't be opportunities to show.
How often does the data update?
Google Search Console data typically updates daily. After connecting GSC, allow 24–48 hours for a complete picture of your opportunities.
